Care Connect Service
Helping adults connect with their past
Care Connect helps adults who have been in care to find information about their past or trace estranged family members.
Adults who have been in care can have similar needs to people who were adopted, perhaps with issues of identity or looking for more information about their families of origin.
Future Pathways
We are currently working with Future Pathways, Scotland’s In Care Survivor Support fund, to provide the Care Connect service to individuals who have registered with them and are looking for support with care records, family histories, or contacting family members.
Through Care Connect, our experienced searchers and professionals can help with:
Records
We can access files and help make sense of case records.
Roots
Our skilled searchers can search public records to compile family trees.
Re-connect
We search for lost family members and can act as a go-between.
Register with Future Pathways
We can only provide the Care Connect service to people who have registered with Future Pathways. If you choose to register with Future Pathways, it means that not only are you able to access Care Connect, but you will also have access to a wide range of other supports as well.
