NVAS Home, Perth
Originally called Melville House, the shelter opened in 1929-30 at 11 Melville Street, Perth, in a house which had been the premises of the National Vigilance Association of Scotland. It relocated to 129 Scott Street to another Vigilance property. It gave shelter and aid to ‘friendless girls’ until it closed in 19711.
