Edinburgh Kiltwalk Sunday 15 September 2024 – Sign Up Here

Step 1: Sign Up on the main Kiltwalk event website and let them know that you are fundraising for us by typing in Birthlink under “Charity Fundraising” when you register on their website.

When you are given an option to fundraise for Birthlink, please choose ‘Birthlink Kiltwalk’ as your supporting charity.

Once you have registered, a unique fundraising page will automatically be created for you. Personalise your page by uploading a picture of yourself and tell people why you are taking part in the Kiltwalk. Is it for personal reasons? Are you trying to get fit? Celebrating a big milestone like a birthday? What your motivation is, tell people about it.

Set yourself a reasonable target. No minimum sponsorship required – you can raise what you can.

Step 2: Start collecting sponsorships from your friends, family, and colleagues. 100% of what you raise will go to Birthlink, (plus an extra 25% of whatever you raised if you claim Gift Aid!). If you are in a workplace that offers match funding, your company may be able to match your donations.

Step 3: Share your online fundraising page on social media.

Step 4: Start training for this fun event

Everyone who has registered will receive:

• a Birthlink t-shirt to wear to the event.

• support on how to make the most of your fundraising.
